CeNS Retreat Kleinwalsertal 2018

Scope of the Retreat
This retreat brings together young researchers of the Center for NanoScience (CeNS) in an informal atmosphere. The talks and poster session are intended to give the graduate students an overview of current research within CeNS. In addition, workshops on transferable skills and career talks will complement the program.
Venue
The retreat takes place at the Marburger Haus in Hirschegg in the beautiful scenery of the Kleinwalsertal. The Marburger Haus can be reached by train to Oberstdorf and a by the Kleinwalsertal bus starting at Oberstdorf station. Program
The retreat will start on Wednesday, April 4 at about 4.00 pm and will end on Friday, April 6 at about 9.00 pm (return to Munich on Saturday, April 7) and will combine:
- oral presentations by PhD students (20 minutes each)
- poster session
- transferable skills workshops on leadership and job applications
- career talks by Prof. Tim Liedl (LMU), Dr. Norma Minar (SGL Group - The Carbon Company) and Dr. Johann Feckl (Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft)
