CeNS Retreat Kleinwalsertal 2019

This retreat brings together young researchers of the Center for NanoScience (CeNS) in an informal atmosphere. The talks and poster session are intended to give the graduate students an overview of current research within CeNS. In addition, workshops on transferable skills and career talks complement the program.

The retreat takes place at the Söllerhaus in Hirschegg in the beautiful scenery of the Kleinwalsertal. The Söllerhaus can be reached by train to Oberstdorf and by the Kleinwalsertal bus starting at Oberstdorf station. The program committee is composed of the current CeNS student representatives:

The retreat will start on Thursday, March 21 at noon and will end on Saturday, March 23 at about 9.00 pm and will combine:

• oral presentations by PhD students (20 minutes each)
• poster session
• workshop on responsible research
• career talks

The return bus to Munich will leave on Sunday, March 24 after breakfast and will arrive in Munich around noon.

CeNS will organize a direct bus transfer from Munich to Hirschegg and back. Detailed information will be sent out by e-mail to the participants.

We have booked rooms for speakers and participants from Thursday (21st) to Sunday morning (24th) in the Söllerhaus. Rooms with 2 or 3 beds, partly with shared bathrooms, will be at disposal for the participants.
