International Physics of Living Systems Network (iPoLS)
2019 Annual Meeting - Martinsried/Munich, Germany
July 8-11, 2019
Scope of the Workshop
This meeting brings together more than 200 scientists from the international Physics of Living Systems Research Network (iPOLS), a trans-national network of graduate students, graduate student educators, and researchers, working at the interface between biology and physics.
Program
The meeting will consist of four days of networking and exciting talks from students and faculty members of the PoLS Network. Sessions will be arranged by institutions. There will also be two poster sessions and an "Unconference", consisting of discussions on particular topics.
The social program will include a conference dinner on Tuesday evening (registered participants only). On Wednesday afternoon (July 10), we will offer different activities, such as a guided city tour (1.5 h), a guided bike tour (2 h) and a roof climb on the glass roof of the famous Olympic stadium (2-2.5h) for registered participants.
