Dr. Monika Kaempfe, Scientific Manager of CeNS, wins Knowledge- and Technology-Transfer-Award

Dr. Monika Kaempfe, scientific manager of CeNS since February 2001, has been honoured with Knowledge- and Technology-Transfer-Award of the Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg. She received the award for her innovative work in her doctoral thesis on the influence of intensive laser light on the color of glasses filled with metal nanoparticles. Her work resulted in two patent submissions and initiated promising industrial cooperations.
