German-Canadian Winterschool on Nanotechnology in Edmonton
PhD students from CeNS and the Universities of Dresden and Bonn visit Canada's Institute for Nanotechnology
The 10-day winterschool was held in the new building of the National Institute for Nanotechnology (NINT) in Edmonton, Alberta. 30 PhD students from Germany and Canada followed a rich scientific program, composed of lectures, hands-on experiments and poster sessions. In the tutorials, internationally renowned scientists gave an overview about their particular research field, thus covering the whole spectrum of state-of-the-art nanotechnology.
